IV Solar chooses BP Solar as strategic supplier

Madrid, 7th January 2003 - IV Solar ( www.ivsolar.com), leading solar signposting company, has presented its new solar lighting solutions based on the BP Solar technology. The agreement between both companies has led to the use of of BP Solar solar cells in IV Solar products which, according to solar lighting experts, has resulted in the smallest unit, with the best performance for the signposting and lighting needs based on solar energy.

The company has presented its new solar signposting units for sectors such as road, highway, construction works and ports at the Feria de Municipalia 2003 exhibition in Lleida in collaboration with the Engineering College for Public Works of Catalonia.

Among its new lighting releases, the company has launched a new solution for street furniture with a bus stop that works as an independent unit using solar energy as a renewable, clean and ecological power source. The solar signposting marker does not need previous installation and stands out for the high quality standards of its components such as the solar cell, the LEDs, the plastic components, its electronic device and its effective vandal resistance system.
