Barcelona, 25th of October 2003 - IV Solar (www.ivsolar.com) has presented an innovative signposting marker system for roads, highways, road works, ports, etc, at the Municipalia 2003 exhibition in Lleida together with the Engineering College for Public Works of Catalonia .

The exhibition has been a great success for IV Solar, as it has received visitors from many different sectors, for instance: local sectors, firemen and policemen forces, town councils, etc.

This shows the great interest that solar energy signposting marker systems are rising. The installation of the solar signposting marker system gives priority to the use of solar energy as a renewable, clean and ecological source. The solar signposting marker does not need previous installation and stands out for the high quality standards of its components such as the solar cell, the LEDs, the plastic components, its electronic device and its effective vandal resistance system.

The products for road signposting are the following:

- Signposting units with amber and/or red light to signpost entries or specific zones, night road works, maintenance, road works, roads, highways, ports, etc.

- Marker with continuous white or any other colour for road signposting. 18 days of continuous rain autonomy, with 13 hours long nights. In bus stops, shelters, stops, etc.
