General Characteristics

Instructions:

  • Fixed-position signposting:

    1. Place the marker in a position which should have solar radiation. Bear in mind that the marker should also receive a charge with snow, fog, rain, etc. The marker will never receive a charge in the shade and/or if we cover the solar cell.

    2. In the fixed signposting and/or extended duration signposting, we should ensure by visual inspection that the casing protecting the solar plates do not have high levels of dirt. In this case, clean the casings with water and a cloth if necessary.

    3. To fix our units, ensure that the position does not endanger public thoroughfare users, that the direction for the signposting is correct and, especially, the use of our safety bolts and nuts, depending on whether they are cones or other applications, to avoid third-party manipulation or theft. The bolt system for the cone enables several units to be linked to a fixed part. We can also fix a single cone by nailing it into the ground directly through the hole.

  • Temporary signposting position:

We should bear in mind that it should always be in the position to receive solar radiation. Once its use has concluded, the manual switch will be placed in the OFF position. This operation is very important if we need to maintain the charge level for 6 months. If we need to use the markers in a position without solar radiation, it gives us a total flare efficiency of 600 hours. The markers will be operational for more or less hours depending of the accumulator charge at the time of storage. As a guide, if the accumulator has 100% charge using the manual switch, we will have 85% useful charge after 5 months.
