IV Solar was born with the aim of commercialising world widely its signposting lighting marker. The system is self-powered by solar energy, needs no maintenance and incorporates radio frequency. It has been created, developed and patented by our own company.

In addition, the company wants to carry on with the research and development of numerous applications taking the current management system on solar energy as a basis.

The project of IV Solar is based on a continuous investment in technology in order to maintain the leading role of the product's quality and performance. This lighting system, which is self-powered by solar energy, needs no maintenance and can be remotely controlled, has been developed with the clear aim of obtaining a state of the art product. However, the company continuous its research to create new business lines and also to improve its current offer of products and signposting options.

The following market segments have been identified by the company and mentioned in its Company Plan:

Maritime: Maritime signposting, port works signposting, fishing and pleasure vessels signposting, installation signposting, berths, entries and parking signposting. Our clients are: Port entities, marinas, concessionary companies, maintenance companies, nautical equipment distributors.

Road signposting: Road lighting, black spots, temporary diversion roads, road signposting for new roads and highways. Our clients and/or users of our markers are road maintenance companies, local transport authorities, highway’s licensees, signposting companies, regional governments, councils, town councils, police forces, fire departments, breakdown service companies, etc.

Construction works: Signposting for construction and preservation works, road maintenance, level crossings, understructure works, etc. Our clients are construction companies and distributors.

Street furniture: Signposting for bus stops, advertising panels, shelter advertising, etc.

However, and following the line of action commented above, the company will turn to new areas of research in a direct way working together with Engineering Universities and Schools. The company has also established strategic agreements with other companies in order to forge alliances and become technological industrial partners. The application of the current value added advantages incorporated in the current products of IV Solar can also be applied to other LED (Light Emitting Diode) products.
